Latest total box office collection
The total numbers ended with a solid run in major cities. The final India net collection reached 199.45 crore rupees. The India gross collection closed at 239.35 crore rupees. The overseas gross was very strong with 101.50 crore rupees. This brings the latest worldwide total collection to 340.85 crore rupees.
Hit or flop status
The movie is classified as an Average to Semi Hit at the box office. Why is that? The worldwide gross reached 340.85 crore rupees, which is higher than the 250 crore budget. Yet, the high production cost kept it from being a clean hit in domestic theaters. It did great business in multiplexes but did not do enough in single screen theaters.
Earnings report
Fighter earned good money from theaters across the globe. It also recovered a big chunk of its money before release. Netflix bought the digital streaming rights for an estimated 100 crore rupees. Satellite TV rights and music rights added another 50 crore rupees. These extra deals helped the producers recover their budget safely.
