To upload a custom thumbnail on a YouTube video, follow these steps:

Step 1: Sign In to YouTube

1. Open your web browser and go to YouTube.
2. Log in to your YouTube account (the account you use to upload videos).

Step 2: Access YouTube Studio

1. Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner.
2. From the dropdown menu, select YouTube Studio. This will open the YouTube Studio dashboard.

Step 3: Go to the Videos Section

1. In YouTube Studio, click on Content (located on the left sidebar). This will show all your uploaded videos.

Step 4: Edit the Video

1. Find the video you want to add a thumbnail to.
2. Click on the pencil icon (Edit button) next to the video title to open the video details.

Step 5: Upload a Custom Thumbnail

1. Under the Video Details tab, scroll down to the Thumbnail section.
2. You will see three auto-generated thumbnails, but to upload your own custom thumbnail, click on the Upload Thumbnail button.

   • File size: Less than 2MB
