» #eTubeGuide Video Description :
To empty the Recycle Bin on a Windows computer and permanently delete folders stored within it, follow these steps:
1. **Open the Recycle Bin**: Double-click on the Recycle Bin icon on your desktop to open it.
2. **Empty the Recycle Bin**:
- Right-click anywhere inside the Recycle Bin window.
- From the context menu, select "Empty Recycle Bin."
- A confirmation dialog will appear asking if you are sure you want to permanently delete all items. Click "Yes" to proceed.
- Alternatively, you can also click on "Empty Recycle Bin" from the Recycle Bin Tools tab at the top of the window.
Once you've emptied the Recycle Bin, all items stored within it, including folders and files, will be permanently deleted from your computer. Be sure you want to permanently delete these items because they cannot be recovered through normal means after emptying the Recycle Bin.
If you're using macOS, the process is similar:
1. **Open Trash**: Click on the Trash icon in the Dock to open it.
2. **Empty Trash**:
- Right-click anywhere inside the Trash window.
- From the context menu, select "Empty Trash."
- A confirmation dialog will appear asking if you are sure you want to permanently delete all items. Click "Empty Trash" to proceed.
- Alternatively, you can also select "Empty Trash" from the Finder menu at the top of the screen.
After emptying the Trash, all items stored within it will be permanently deleted from your Mac. Again, ensure you want to permanently delete these items because they cannot be easily recovered once emptied from the Trash.
