As of my last update, YouTube Shorts videos cannot be added to playlists in the traditional sense. However, you can create a playlist specifically for YouTube Shorts by using a workaround. Here's how:
1. **Create a New Playlist**: Go to your YouTube channel and navigate to the "Playlists" tab. Click on the "+ New playlist" button to create a new playlist.
2. **Name Your Playlist**: Give your playlist a name that indicates it's for YouTube Shorts videos. For example, you could name it "YouTube Shorts Showcase" or "Shorts Highlights."
3. **Set the Privacy Settings**: Choose whether you want your playlist to be public, private, or unlisted. If you want others to discover your Shorts playlist, set it to public.
4. **Add Videos**: You won't be able to directly add YouTube Shorts videos to the playlist as you would with regular videos. Instead, you'll need to manually add the individual Shorts videos to the playlist by copying their links.
5. **Copy Video Links**: Go to each YouTube Shorts video you want to add to your playlist. Click on the "Share" button below the video player and copy the video link.
6. **Add Videos to Playlist**: Go back to your playlist page and click on the "Edit" button. Then, click on the "+ Add videos" button. In the dialog box that appears, select "Add by URL" and paste the YouTube Shorts video link. Click "Add videos" to add it to your playlist.
